Mendelssohn’s Elijah Part 1

March 26, 2023 4 p.m., Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Doylestown
The BCCC Concert Choir collaborates with The Bucks County Choral Society to perform Mendelssohn's Elijah, a long-time pillar of the choral and orchestral literature. Internationally acclaimed, two-time Grammy-nominated baritone Stephen Powell will perform the title role, joined by Choral Society audience favorite Suzanne DuPlantis, rising star James Reese, 2018 Voices of the Future winner Eva Martinez, and Symphony in C. Full of passion, conflict, hope, and transcendence, this work that launched choral societies like ours throughout Europe and America still has much to say in our own day.
